Patrice has ample experience with coring, trail trenches and full blown excavations, as well as urban archaeology and digging inside churches. He is used to leading a team of both professional diggers as well as volunteers or people in government employment programs.

Dr. Patrice de Rijk can both work with modern equipment like a total station or a RTK GPS, but can also still 'do it all by hand' using plummet, tape measure, pencil and paper. Patrice has also wide-range experience in bringing excavation results to publication level.
